About School
The Bhupen Hazarika School of Mass Communication has been named after the world renowned music maestro Dr Bhupen Hazarika as part of sincere effort to commemorate his contribution in the field of Journalism and Mass Communication.
The school presently offers Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication (GJMC), Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication (DJMC), Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication (PGDMC) and Post Graduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism (PGDBJ). These UGC approved academic programmes have been structured keeping in mind both the needs and preferences of the learners.
