Computer Lab
The Computer Lab of KKHSOU is located on the fifth floor of the C Block of City Campus at Khanapara, Guwahati. The Computer Lab is open to KKHSOU students, research scholars, faculty members, staff and community.The Computer Lab of KKHSOU offers more than 30 computers for patrons and visitors to use free of charge.Computers in the lab provide access to the Internet, Library catalogue and databases with hundreds of thousands of articles, eBooks and the extensive KKHSOU website designed to help users find the information they need.
Hours
The Computer lab remains open on all working days and closed on all Sundays, 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month and all state government holidays. (Any changes will be notified in the Notice Board, also in the site.)
Hardware
The Computer Lab has 50 PCs, with Linux and Windows operating system and a wall mount wide screen TV.
Computer Programs/Software
A wide variety of computer programs are available, including word processing, spreadsheets, graphics and numerous others that support research work. Statistical data analysis package like SPSS is also installed in the Computer Lab.
