Description:

KKHSOU offers Sanskrit as pass course . We all know that Sanskrit is regarded as the mothter tongue of all Indian Languages. Sanskrit literature is the treasure-house of moral knowledge. The syllabus of the course has been so developed that a learner can get moral knowledge for day to day life and know the great history of our classical literature. This course will help the learnes to write and read basic Sanskrit language in a simple and easy way. Moreover, this course will be very useful for the learners of Assamese literature. The course is so designed as to ensure that a learner can develop knowledge in the field of Sanskrit language and literature.

Eligibility:

a. 10+2 or equivalent examination passed (in any stream, including Vocational Stream) from a Council/University recognized by UGC.

b. Diploma passed from Polytechnics in any branch.

 

A Learner who wants to pursue major in any course need to study elective of the respective course in 1st and 2nd semester. For example a learner who wants to opt for English or Assamese major have to study elective english or elective assamese as elective subjects in 1st and 2nd semester.

 

2). Lateral entry into 3rd semester of BA/BA (Mass Comm.) Programme:

A candidate may be allowed lateral entry into 3rd semester of BA/BA (Mass Comm) programme provided they have successfully completed two semester of undergraduate degree programme from the KKHSOU or any recognised Indian/ foreign university in any discipline.

 

3). Lateral  entry into 5th semester of BA/BA(Mass Comm.) Programme:

A candidate may be allowed lateral entry into the 5th semester of BA/BA(Mass Comm) programme provided they have successfully completed four semester of the concerned degree programme from the KKHSOU or any recognised Indian/foreign university.

Copies of marksheets and pass certificate of qualifying examination (10+2/P.U./Diploma)
